How should Azlan F1 be sown – density, spacing and seeding rate?
Recommended plant population is 5,000 – 5,500 plants/decare with row spacing of 70–85 cm and 20–25 cm within the row. Seeding rate is 1–1.5 kg/decare, at 3–5 seeds/g. Block planting (minimum 4 rows) is recommended for better pollination and even ear development.
What is the germination temperature for the seeds?
A minimum soil temperature of 12–14°C is required for reliable germination. Sowing below this threshold leads to uneven emergence and stand losses.
What are the main growing risks?
